Record cover for jazz artist Gunilla Törnfeldt’s debut album A Time for Everything.
The graphic design for the cd cover is, like the music, built on contrasts. One side is white, the other one is black.
The horizontal format and the horizontal lines is an attempt to visualize time.
My aim was to make an environmentally friendly package using only (recyclable) cardboard, with no loose details and no glue. The solution I came up with is a type of accordion fold with a cut to put the cd in. When folded the size is he same as a digipak, so it will fit into a cd storage rack.
